A lawn can either elivate or diminish a garden. Due to our water crisis we suggest to our clients to use Cynodon dactylon. It can withstand drier circumstances and will flourish in full sun areas  It has a soft texture, thin leaves anda nice green colour – everything  you want from grass. We usually use Kikuyu because it is the cheaper option (it grows faster, therefore more can be cultered and that is why it is cheaper) Unfortunatly in the long run it is the more expensive option, it needs to be cut more regularly and needs a lot of water. It will not be the wiser option with our current water restrictions. Make the waterwise decision and reap the rewards!
